For troubleshooting purposes, please perform the following :

1. Open the printer and remove all ink tanks.
2. Insert a single ink tank in the printer then close the cover.
3. Confirm whether the printer recognizes the installed tank properly. If it does, it will indicate it does not detect the other ink tanks, as they are not currently installed in the printer.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 with another ink tank.
5. If the printer at any time indicates two of the same ink tanks are installed, the cause will be the last tank installed. For example, if you inserted an ink tank earlier, and you later inserted another ink tank, and it said two of the same inks were installed, the cause of the issue is the last ink tank.

How to Refill Canon PG810 and CL811

This refill instruction is for Canon Pixma ip2770, Mp258, MP245, MP268, MP276, MP486, MP496 using Canon PG810 and Canon CL811 cartridge.

Follow this steps:
1. Remove the sticker on the print cartridge
2. Verify each colour on the cartridge
3. Drill a hole in the cartridge
4. Refill the cartridge according to correct colour

Note: 8ml to 10ml for PG810 (Black Cartridge)
3 to 4ml per color for CL811 (Color Cartridge)

How to Remove Ink Low Warning:

for MX series: U051, U053, U059, U140, U150 means Ink has run out

If you encounter error after refilling the cartridge. All you have to do is this.

For IP Series Printers: Press and hold the paper feed button down for 5-8 seconds, it will allow you to override the counter. The cartridge will print , however, the ink level display may not show.

For MP Series Printers: Press and hold the STOP/RESET button down for 5-8 seconds, it will allow you to override the counter. The cartridge will print , however, the ink level display may not show.

Reset Counter Canon iP1500 and iP1000 using Software Resetter

On this post you can download software resetter for Canon Pixma iP1500 and Canon iP1000 and also you can follow tutorial reset method for the both canon printers below.
Reset method for canon pixma ip 1000 is  same as like  resetting canon ip1500 but using different software  resetter. There are two steps must be done to reset the both canon printer models; enter into service mode and resetting the counter on the printer. I have tried this reset method to reset counter on Canon iP1000 and work fine but I have not tried this on canon iP1500 because I don’t have this canon printer series.
Follow there steps to reset the both canon Pixma iP1000 and iP1500 printers :
Steps 1: Enter to Service mode

• Unplug power cable and USB cable.
• Open front case of printer and then press and hold power button.
• Connected cable power to elecric source then close printer cover and then release power button.
• Tide USB cable to computer.

Steps 2 : Reset Waste Ink Counter

• Download software resetter / general tools for Canon Pixma IP1000 and canon pixma IP1500. Dowmload both of software from download link above.
• Runt the software and select printer from USB port.
• Click the iP100 button for canon iP1000 In the SET DESTINATION sections and the printer should be reset.
• for Canon iP1500 select printer type in the set destination sections and then click main and platen button in the waste ink counter section to reset counter the printer.
• After resetting the printer turn off the printer and turn on again. To ascertain the printer have normal, use to print.
